Holistic health coaching uses an integrative approach to diet and lifestyle changes to improve the client’s health. Group Health Coaching differs in approach and depends upon the goals of the group. The skilled and experienced Health Coach moderates and guides the group using techniques like deep listening, thoughtful reflections, and evocative questions. Everybody in the group working together for the same health goals to achieve is incredibly supportive and nurturing.
Group coaching is discussion based, thus opening up important conversations in a guided and structured environment. Group coaching can also be positioned as a training follow-on, supporting learners with the transfer and application of their learning thus creating an on-going accountability structure.
Dr. Madhumita Mandal has worked in the healthcare industry in various domains. Her expertise is in the dental field where she worked for around a decade guiding patients on health, diet, medications, treatment and wellbeing. Her interest in the mental health is to care, connect, and empower patients to discover ways to cope and thrive. Madhumita is particularly interested in the intersection of health, mindfulness, behaviour change, and professional guidance. This expertise and experience along with her personal journey of transformation fighting PCODs, gestational diabetes and post-partum depression motivated her to undertake this initiative.
